[back to news]| Official Charities: Why run for us? 24-04-09 ![]() The four Official Charities: The Fire Fighters Charity, CLIC Sargent, Headway - the brain injury association and Alzheimer's Society are instrumental in the organisation and success of the Experian Robin Hood Festival of Running. Did you know we stuff over 12,000 runners’ goody bags, supply over 300 volunteer race marshals for the event, who make sure the race is safe and make the post race village a fun place to be by getting masseurs and other forms of entertainment? Run for us and you'll have the best running experience and make a real difference to so many people from all walks of life. We will give you: • A free fundraising pack • Fundraising support and advice. • An invitation to the post-race marquee where there will be the opportunity for refreshments and a massage • The chance to beat the queues at the main kit tent and drop off your bags at our charity tent instead. • An opportunity to win a place in the ING New York Marathon, a year's membership to Hoofers Gym in Nottingham or a pair of New Balance trainers Join the team today!
